Christmas in July

Standard

Considering July is during the wintertime in Lesotho, it felt more like Christmas to me in July than it did last December.  With that said, a few friends and I decided to declare Christmas in July!  We celebrated by eating gingerbread cookies, fudge, listening to Christmas carols and watching Christmas movies.  We decorated with lights and mini Christmas trees as well.  For dinner we ate by candlelight and had a soul-feeding meal of chicken, gravy and biscuits.  This was something that my Grammy Bea would always cook for our family, so I made it in homage of her Southern cookin’.  To top it all off we sipped sparkling wine and cheered to how great life is.  We ate.  We drank.  Ad we were beyond merry!
